Comfort hotel presents an art exhibition of Valerius Zarrapelli
 | On the 1st of July an exhibition of Valerius Zarrapelli was unveiled in the Comfort Hotel. Valerius Zarrapelli is a cult St. Petersburg artist. The exhibition is occasional to the celebration of Comfort Hotel’s Birth day.
At the exhibition Valerius conducted a master-class of unique author technique named “zarrapki”. During the lesson each guest had an opportunity to get them-self-created exclusive card, made in this technique, under the direction of Valerius Zarrapelli. |
 | “Zarrapka” is a picture on chalk paper, executed in oil. First of all you need scratch an image on a cardboard, than lay on the coat of paint – thereby you impart a texture and the effect of third-dimensional for the picture. This technique enables enjoy the art for blind people.
Within the bounds of exhibition Valerius Zarrapelli presents his masterpieces and so called ‘trunk galleries’. The antique trunks of the beginning of XX century carefully save works of art. It is possible not only see the pictures but put on gauzy white gloves touch and “feel” the images. |
